We had a wonderful Easter! 

I hope you guys did too!

I did however leave my camera behind at my Grandmother-in-laws so pictures of the fun event will have to come later.

Boo!- I know right?.  You were so looking forward to seeing them.  I get it.  And I don't blame you.  Honestly I'm looking forward to showing them to you.  I wore a dress and but on makeup and everything!  It was Crazy Town to the max!

But that is for another time and another place.  Well another time anyway.

But right now it's time for Instagram Mania-!

Baby G is starting to smile like Crazy!  Love me some baby dimples!

 

Starting in the top left hand corner going clockwise:

 

1)  A lovely picture of our dinner!  We had African theme night here in our lovely home!  Capetown Fruit and Veggie Curry with a side of Cucumber Mint Refresher, homemade Ginger Soda to drink, and a South African Milk Tart for dessert!  Yummy!!!

 

We watched a movie about Africa, some music videos from the Lion King, and read some books, fiction and non-fiction, about Africa.  It was Awesome!

 

And Yes- you may use my idea for a fun filled, educational, family night.  You're welcome.

 

2)  Me and my peeps headed to Easter Dinner.

 

3)  I've started my post-baby working out.  This is what I look like laying on my yoga mat hoping someone will come along and put me out of my misery roll me to my bed.

 

4)  Got all my hair chopped off!  Oh Happy, Happy Day!

 

5)  Little Man is such a good guy- He let his baby sister paint his face up all fancy with some pretty makeup.  He'd make a very pretty girl.  His sister was very excited about the entire event- He's the man!

 

6)  The Ole' Blog got a fancy new makeover- Isn't it pretty?!!!  Head on over to see my designer- Tiffany at Tiffany Kuehl Design!  She was unbelievable to work with!  She's the bomb diggity!

 

7)  Baby G got all bundled for one of our outings!  She's so chubby I just want to pinch those cheeks and steal all her kisses!!!

 

8)  After running in 28 degree weather I was feeling like a rock star and having a good morning- and wishing everyone the same!

Middle Picture:  Baby Girl is 2 months old!  She's getting so big, and she's awake so much more (which means my naps are getting harder to come by).

Starting in the top left corner going around clockwise:

1)  The Smelly Beast loves her some Rice Krispies cereal- licked that bowl dry.

2)  Little Man is such a deep thinker.

3)  Why is it that you never lose both socks?  It's always, ALWAYS,  just one.  And where does the other one go?  It's like there's this black hole that they fall into and now they're all living in this alternate universe alone.

Who's the deep thinker now?...

4)  Fat baby cheeks?  Yes, please.

5)  How weird do my lips look in this picture.  Weird- right?!.

6)  Who wants to read at the totally awesome library when there's a computer?.

7)  Five strand braid by yours truly.  Thank you very much.

8)  I had to take this picture of myself to commemerate the fact that I had on makeup.  These days it doesn't happen too often.  Sad, but true.

It's amazing how a picture can tell a story isn't it?

So here's some stories from our past week or so via Instagrammy Goodness...



 

Top Row L to R-

1)  I made these cute pillows for the kiddos- their filled with rice, and they are made to be put in the microwave to be warmed and then snuggled with.  While the kids were at school I pillow-napped them and then cozied up with them.  One on my feet and one in my arms!  It was rice-pillow heaven!

2) My pretty Hummus and veggie wrap- My body thanked me.

3)  The fun apron I made.  The colors make me happy.

Middle Row L to R-

1)  One of the necklaces that I made.  My craftiness has no limits- HA!

2)  The prettiest little Mardi Gras Princess in all the land!  Our town had a Mardi Gras Parade and Little Miss had the best time catching beads and candy (except for the five minute meltdown she had- she loved it).  She danced in the street and had a big time!

3)  My Happy "Good Morning" cup that I got from Target.  It just makes me smile and have a Happy day.

Bottom Row L to R-

1)  My "computer desk" consists of me sitting up on the bed with the computer in front of me and a baby in my lap these days.  I love it!

2)  The other cups at Target that were calling my name- because HELLO- they are my initials!  They're "Happy, Colorful, Initial Cups"- Target is so Awesome!

3)  When most people are sleeping at 4 a.m. in the morning- this is how my baby looks.  You should see how I look- It ain't pretty people.

Instagrammy Goodness

You might not be aware of this, but I'm addicted to Instagram.  

 

Here's some of this past weeks Instagram fun.

 

 

Top Row- L to R:  

Little Miss dresses herself everyday, and Never, I mean NEVER, fully matches.  I choose to let her go for it.  She's a sassy mess and will freak if she has to wear something that she's not all about.  So I say express yourself girlfriend and be my guest because frankly I have bigger fish to fry in the mornings- like teeth brushing, hair brushing, lunch making, blasting with dynamite getting her brother out of bed, and so on.

Me and Baby Girl working on the blog, my new Etsy Shop, and stealing each others cuddles.  Okay, you got me.  Really it was just me stealing hers.

 

Middle Row- L to R: 

She makes me laugh.

 

Two weeks out from having a baby and the pre-pregnancy skinnies buttoned up.  Oh yeah!...!  I'm choosing to say buttoned up instead of fit because I feel like "fit" might be a stretch.

 

4 a.m.- and she's wide awake- like- Every night.  However, the house is quiet and she's all mine to snuggle up with.  Who knew I could be so happy about being woken up at 4 a.m.. 

 

Bottom Row- L to R:

Little Miss got some makeup from her amazing Nana for her 5th birthday.  She's made sure I've rocked this hot pink lipstick every since.

 

70 degrees in January, which totally freaks me out btw...but we totally made the most of it.

 

The Smelly Beast loves her some Little Man.
